Charter Policy
This policy explains the current booking expectations for 4everfishing charter deposits and customer reservations.
Booking deposits and holds
A booking request creates a temporary seat hold while Stripe Checkout is completed. The hold is not a confirmed reservation until payment is completed and the booking status is updated.
The charter deposit is applied toward the listed trip price. Any remaining balance is due according to captain or business instructions before or at the trip.
If payment completes after the hold expires, the booking may move to manual review instead of automatically confirming seats.
Weather and captain discretion
Charter departures may be changed, delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled when weather, water conditions, vessel readiness, safety, regulations, or captain discretion require it.
Captain instructions about departure timing, passenger conduct, safety equipment, and trip conditions must be followed.
Customer changes and cancellations
Customers should contact support as soon as possible for guest-count changes, timing conflicts, accessibility needs, or cancellation requests.
Refunds, credits, or rescheduling decisions may depend on timing, captain availability, weather, operational costs, and applicable law.
Passenger responsibilities
Customers are responsible for accurate contact information, arriving on time, following safety instructions, and disclosing relevant accessibility or passenger needs before departure.
The business may refuse or remove passengers when required for safety, legal compliance, disruptive conduct, intoxication, or failure to follow captain instructions.
